Here at Surrey Steels we are proud to have sponsored the team and to have been part of their journey. Also to personally know the brave, committed veterans who ran 26.2 miles on Sunday 21st July 2024, carrying 40lbs on their backs, to raise awareness and money for mental health within our armed forces.
Myself (Tim) and my daughter Amy were lucky enough to run behind, un-weighted, for the duration in absolute awe of what these guys achieved - the dedication and commitment required - NOT just on the day - but for the tireless and painful hours of training necessary to get this challenge done!
