Bradley Moore

A natural golfer, Bradley started playing the game at the age of 5 before moving on to play for his county, Derbyshire, at the age of 9. Gradually becoming recognised for his skill, he played for the under 18’s from the age of 13, where he captained England and GB&I and was ranked 2nd in the world and number 1 in Europe.

It’s been a pleasure to support Bradley over the last couple of years and we’ve caught up with him to see how he’s doing.

“I had a very good junior career, winning many national and European events which led me into the England men’s team for 2 years before turning professional at the back end of 2017, aged 19.

It was a rocky start to my first year as a professional in 2018 with playing a few invites on the Challenge Tour but the experiences were great to learn from. 2019 was the breakthrough year for me as a professional. I had my first win at Frilford Heath which helped me secure a Challenge Tour card for 2020.

In 2020 for my pre season I won the Portugal Pro Golf Tour in March. Due to Covid-19 I was only able to play 5 events on the challenge Tour, 3 of which were co-sanctioned events with the European Tour. It was a great opportunity to experience playing alongside European Tour players.

Since then I have played 3 years on the Challenge Tour but in 2022 struggled with my game and didn’t manage to keep my Challenge Tour card. So this year I have played the Clutch Tour which is a new Tour that has replaced the Europro.

On the whole 2023 was a little disappointing results-wise but my game is in a lot better shape than it was in 2022 and has been more of a rebuild year. I am looking forward to a good winter to keep pushing forwards and a successful 2024!”

“Having the support of Surrey Steels since I turned professional has been invaluable. I would have not been able to achieve what I have as a professional and I will be forever grateful for their support. I am honoured to represent Surrey Steels and always enjoy telling people about the company when they see the logo on my shirts. I look forward to many more successful years with Surrey Steels.”
